The rhythm of Augmented Live Learning follows a simple but powerful cycle. Each learner begins alone, moves into dialogue, and then joins with the group. These stages are called Beat, Scene, and Episode.
The cycle is not abstract. It is lived. Learners carry a phone and earbuds, recording short reflections as they go about their daily lives. These small sparks are called beats.
Later, they meet in pairs, often walking together, and record conversations that stitch their beats into something larger. These are scenes.
Finally, the group gathers, bringing their beats and scenes together, listening, naming, and shaping the story of their shared learning. This is the episode.
Each stage builds on the one before it. A beat is a glimpse, a single thought or moment. A scene is a dialogue, where glimpses become stories. An episode is a gathering, where stories are shared and reflected upon, and where the arc of the learning season begins to take shape.
